Home is where we feel safe and welcome, and where we protect our neighbors. It is a place where we reach out to our homeless, especially children, and include them. When our Letcher County home is under threat, we come together to work for safety. Natural disasters such as the floods of July 2022 and February 2023, as well as man made threats like a prison create damage to our people's lives so we will work to replace those threats with hope and promise.
